Some details on Google Android. Interesting to see how this project develops and whether it can have an impact. In essence it sounds like a great idea esp. with openness at the core.
Not profitable. Yes. Although this does seem to make them somewhat fragile if the advertising money runs out in web 1.0 style. But it is hard to argue about the product and user base. Unless you are funding of course. Interesting year ahead.

Interesting point on the quality of Google and such internet search engines. With the advent of SEO and SEM the quality of results is often tainted. I tend to think this is something the search engines really need to address.
wise words. YouTube does seem somewhat overvalued considering 70% of its traffic comes from MySpace which will launch its own Video service - thus potentially killing the link and ditching YouTubes traffic numbers.

Good blog entry regarding the potential boom of RSS and the rewards advertisers may recieve. RSS adoption I feel will be driven by the complexity of using this form being removed and thus making it more user friendly.

Another - The Newspaper is dead article. puts some interesting questions forward. Generally I feel he's spot on with the Newspapers don't really know where they are going and have been pretty slow to take up the true purpose of the internet.

A good point about adding complexity by adding the .mobi domain extensions - surely just changing the www in a internet address to mww would have been easy or something similar....
